“A Professional, Positive Production by Weiss School Students!”
The Friday Morning Show at The Weiss School is one of the most unique components of The Weiss School experience! One Friday a month throughout the school year, the school day begins with a school-wide assembly in the Cafetorium on the Weiss School campus. The Friday Morning Show assembly is an opportunity for the entire Weiss School student body to come together as a Weiss School family on a frequent basis. The objective of the Friday Morning Show is to retain the close knit, family-like environment that is one of the most signature trademarks of Student Life at The Weiss School.
The entire Friday Morning Show is led 100% by Weiss School students under the guidance of two Weiss School teachers who serve as advisors.
At the beginning of each Friday Morning Show, all students, faculty, staff, and visitors stand in unison stand to honor and celebrate the United States of America by saluting the flag, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, singing a patriotic song, and observing a moment of silence for United States military veterans. Following the tribute to America, all students recite The Weiss School Character Pledge that outlines the various character traits Weiss School students pledge to exhibit. Parents, grandparents, friends, and school stakeholders are all welcome to attend each Friday Morning Show.
Following the introductory activities, two Weiss School students serve as co-hosts for the Friday Morning Show and facilitate a comprehensive, interactive show that highlights a wide variety of activities.
