Ways to Give

Over the past 30 years, generous gifts have been made by Weiss School parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders dedicated to educating and inspiring bright minds. We truly appreciate each and every one of our stakeholders whose generosity and vision continue to fuel the mission of The Weiss School. There are a variety of ways to support The Weiss School ranging from providing a cash donation to planning one's legacy. Unlike tuition payments, philanthropic gifts provide donors with tax benefits and gifts may be restricted to a specific purpose according to a donor’s preference. The Weiss School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and ALL gifts and donations to the School are tax-deductible.

  • Dr. Martin and Elisabeth Weiss Scholarship Fund

    Established in 2022, the Dr. Martin and Elisabeth Weiss Scholarship Fund was created to provide meaningful scholarships for future Weiss School students who exhibit honorable characteristics and talents but might not necessarily be able to afford a Weiss School education. Please use the Donate to Scholarship Fund button to pay by credit card. If you would like to make gifts of stock or wire funds, please contact Dr. Tammy Ferguson at tferguson@weissschool.org.

  • Cash Gifts

    Cash gifts to The Weiss School may be made outright by cash or check in person, through the mail, or online through our Donate Now form. Gifts of any amount may be made to The Weiss School as your gift is an important contribution to the exceptional education of Weiss School students. Checks should be payable to The Weiss School and mailed to the following address:

  • Credit Card Gifts

    The Weiss School accepts gifts via credit card transactions from Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. Credit card gifts can be made online through our Donate Now form or by calling The Weiss School Development Office at (561) 627-0740. No transaction fees are applied for gifts received by credit card.

  • Matching Gifts

    Many corporations offer programs that match or multiply gifts when their employees make contributions to non-profit organizations. By participating in these programs, you can match or double your contribution to The Weiss School. Please visit https://doublethedonation.com/weissschool to determine if your corporation matches employee contributions.

  • Gifts of Stock/Securities

    Gifts of stock or appreciated securities is a popular method to make a gift to The Weiss School. Capital gains taxes are reduced or eliminated when you give securities that have increased in value and have been held for more than one year and a day. For investments that have decreased in value, you benefit from a capital loss deduction and tax deduction if you first sell the stock and then donate the cash proceeds to The Weiss School. Giving securities may allow you to make a larger gift without affecting your cash flow and you will also avoid capital gains tax on appreciated securities.

    Please consult with your tax/financial advisor about the tax implications prior to making a gift of stock or securities. In advance of a stock or securities transfer to The Weiss School, please email Dr. Tammy Ferguson, at at tferguson@weissschool.org to ensure that the gift transfer is properly received.

  • Planned Gifts

    Planned Gifts provide valuable opportunities to support The Weiss School through estate plans. Gifts including bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable unitrusts, charitable lead trusts, life insurance, personal property, real estate, retirement plans, and other forms of planned gifts are unique methods to provide ongoing support to The Weiss School.   • In-Kind Gifts

    In-Kind are non-cash donations of materials, services, or other assets that support and benefit The Weiss School. In-Kind gifts may include equipment, specialized services, musical instruments, technology hardware or software, printed materials, works of art, and many other items.   • Online Giving

    To give a gift to The Weiss School electronically, please complete the Donate Now form.

  • Commemorative Gifts

    Honorary and memorial gifts recognize special individuals, events, or individuals who may have passed away. Commemorative gifts can be designated for a specific purpose or to provide general support for The Weiss School. Signage and/or observable recognition will be provided according to your request.

The Weiss School is a co-ed private school that serves gifted students in PreK-3 through 8th grade in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. A Weiss School education prepares students to think analytically and creatively, act socially responsible, live vigorously, and create imaginatively in a warm and supportive educational environment.
