Parent Association

The Weiss School Parent Association is a vital and dynamic parent volunteer group that actively supports The Weiss School and students by advancing the mission and values of the school.

The Parent Association enhances the school experience by facilitating communication among parents, educators, and the broader Weiss School community. The Parent Association sponsors activities that foster community spirit and student education by enhancing existing School programs with volunteers, speakers, resources, and fundraising efforts. 

All parents, guardians, and educators are members of The Weiss School Parent Association. Families are assessed an annual membership due of $35.00 and all of the collected funds that are collected go toward fun, educational, and exciting programs for all Weiss School students and families to enjoy.

All Weiss School parents are encouraged to volunteer at The Weiss School in some capacity to support the overall mission of the School. The Parent Association initiates a list of volunteering opportunities at the beginning of the school year for all parents, families, and friends to consider. A background check procedure is in place for all volunteers and is monitored by The Weiss School administration.

  • Annual Auction

    We will need volunteers to help secure items to be auctioned, to plan and execute the decorations, and to organize a party that will be talked about afterward!

  • Boutique (Used Uniforms)

    Donated uniforms can be purchased here for $5 an item. Volunteers will be needed on a regular basis to sort through the donated clothes and to keep the room organized.

  • Field Day

    This half-day of school is an event parents do not want to miss! Volunteers are needed to set up the field, supervise the refreshment areas, and monitor the games.

  • Holiday Shop

    Our Holiday Shop is set up with the intention to allow students to shop for gifts for loved ones. The students take a lot of pride in making a list of who they would like to buy for, creating a budget, and counting out their money. This event needs volunteers to set up, sell, and help the younger children make their purchases.

  • Room Parents

  • Scholastic Book Fair

    The Scholastic Book Fair is held at Weiss twice per year. The students get so excited once they see the Media Center being transformed into that season’s book fair theme! We will need volunteers to help decorate, unpack the books, work the registers, and clean up.

The Weiss School is a co-ed private school that serves gifted students in PreK-3 through 8th grade in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
